Latest version.
  • (a)

Residents will be given first priority to register for those activities which are directly structured, supervised, and limited as to number of participants, hereinafter referred to as structured activity, by the City of Haltom City through its parks and recreation department. The initial registration period will be for Haltom City residents only.

    (b)

After the initial registration for residents, nonresidents will be allowed to register for structured activities. Nonresidents register for any opening in structured activities on a first come, first served basis.

    (c)

The park and recreation board shall establish a schedule of fees that may be charged residents and nonresidents registering for the structured activities. A nonresident may be charged a fee that is higher than the fee charged a resident for the same activity. If a resident is not charged a fee for the activity, then the nonresident may be charged a reasonable fee. Fees are payable to the department of parks and recreation.

    (d)

Nothing herein shall prohibit the director of parks and recreation or his authorized representative from setting the maximum number of participants in a given activity.
