§ 62-133. Issuance of permit; nonassignability.

(a)

The city secretary shall issue a sign (which shall constitute the permit) and a stake for posting the sign after the city secretary has completed the necessary investigation and determined that the applicant meets the requirements of and has fully complied with this article and with all other ordinances and laws of the city and state. The permitted dates for the garage sale shall be specified on the face of the sign. The permittee shall receive a refund of a portion of the permit fee if the permittee returns the sign and stake, in good condition, to the city secretary's office within five working days after the last day of the permitted garage sale.

(b)

Permits shall be deemed personal to the permittee and shall not be assignable or transferable from one person to another or one location to another.
