§ 94-47. Vehicle condition.

Each taxicab shall be subject to inspection and approved by the chief of police or his representatives. No taxicab shall be driven or operated upon the streets of the city unless the same is in safe condition and free of mechanical defects and with the brakes in excellent condition.
