§ 94-44. Business places—Number and locations.

Every holder of a franchise or grant of privilege made under the terms of this article shall maintain at least one fixed place of business or location within this county. Provided, however, no taxi business location or taxistand shall be located at any place in the city if other ordinances of the city prohibit the location of such a stand or business at such place. In addition to his principal fixed place of business, the operator of a taxicab business may have taxistands and callboxes at other locations in the city, provided such other locations be first approved by the chief of police, and provided such a use of said proposed location is not in violation of any ordinance of the city.
