§ 90-121. Speed limit.

  • No person shall operate or cause to be operated any railroad engine, locomotive or train across any railroad track that crosses a public street, alley or thoroughfare within the city at a rate of speed in excess of 20 miles per hour, unless such railroad crossing is equipped with an automatic signal device. For the purpose of this section an automatic signal device is defined as a device which gives visual and audible warning automatically immediately prior to the approaching of a railroad train or locomotive.
