§ 70-135. Parking vehicles.

  • Where vehicle parking lots or areas have been set aside in a park in the city, no vehicle shall be driven over or across the curbs, sidewalks, or lawn within such park, but shall be parked in such parking lots or areas and not otherwise. No person shall park a vehicle in designated parking lots or areas of city parks unless participating in park related activities or using the park for designated purposes. The use of the parking lots for any other reason is specifically prohibited. The chief of police is authorized to erect signs indicating that parking for any purpose other than participation in a park related activity or park designated purpose is prohibited.
