§ 62-40. Permit required.

(a)

Except as provided in subsection (b) below, it shall be unlawful for any person, individually or in association with others, to engage in peddling without having a valid, current permit issued by the city.

(b)

This article does not apply to sales that commercial travelers or sales agents make in the usual course of business when calling on or dealing with manufacturers, wholesalers, distributors, or retailers at their place of business.
