§ 42-24. Rules and regulations.
The city manager may impose reasonable rules and regulations as a condition precedent to issuing a permit under this article and as a condition to continuing validity. Such rules and regulations may include but are not necessarily restricted to the type of vehicle to be used in collection, the number of pickups per week required, the method and route for transporting the collection, appropriate disposal location and identification of trucks. The city council shall approve such rules and regulations, which may be incorporated into the permit issued by the city to any contractor.
