§ 34-7. Dispensing of fuel into portable containers—Metal required.

  • No person dispensing any gasoline, kerosene, or any inflammable liquids in any service station or garage, or any other location within the city, shall dispense same into any containers other than the Underwriters' Laboratories, Inc. approved metal cans, provided such liquids may be put in metal cans or receptacles, if they be of the type provided with tightfitting screw caps for sealing or opening on a pouring spout that is vapor-tight.
