§ 2-93. Council contacts.

Every board and commission of the city not assigned a council liaison pursuant to the provisions of this division may be assigned a council contact person. The city council shall select from among its members a contact person whom the board or commission may call upon to advise such board on city council goals and objectives. The council contact person shall not be required to attend the meetings of his or her respective board; nor shall the council contact person have the right to decide or vote on issues before such board.
