§ 2-90. Council liaisons.

The mayor and city council shall assign council liaisons to the city's planning and zoning commission and zoning board of adjustment. The purpose of liaisons will be to serve as a link of communications between the designated board and the city council at large. Council liaisons report on the various activities of the assigned board to the city council, and return status reports of city council action regarding the board back to the board members. council liaisons shall communicate the goals and objectives established by the city to assist board members in formulating their goals and objectives consistently with those of the city.
