§ 14-89. Penalty for violation.

  • (a)

    Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate or cause or permit anyone to violate any of the provisions of this Code shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof, shall be fined not to exceed the sum of $2,000.00. Each and every day that any violation of this article or any part thereof shall occur shall be considered to be a separate and distinct offense and punishable as such.

    (b)

    The city may also bring suit for injunction against any person, firm or corporation that violates or threatens to violate any of the provisions of this Code, in order to prevent a continued violation or threatened violation.
