§ 7. Newly annexed territory.

In the event that any territory is subsequently disannexed from surrounding communities and annexed into the city, the annexed territory shall be temporarily classified in the "SF-1" single family residential district until permanent zoning classifications are given to the area by the city council of the City of Haltom City, Texas. The procedure for establishing appropriate zoning on any annexed territory shall be the same as set forth in section 39, changes and amendments, for the amendment of the zoning ordinance.
